sheared bleed screw

sheared bleed screw
just put a new MC onto the motor and went to bleed the brakes only to find the OS front caliper's bleed screw is non-existant
silly coont before obviously sheared it off and left it
its pretty much flush so not much chance of getting anything on it, whats my options?
assume either drill it out or weld a new head on it?
cheers

Get a file
Remove wooden handle
The end of the file should be square and tapered
Tap the tapered end into the bleed nipple remains
Carefully twist file and "hopefully" it will unscrew the snapped off nipple
(Yes I have used this method and Yes it does work !)

hello mate, if you remember i had the same problem a few months ago on my escort cossie and you had some calipers for sale !,
I tried all sorts of methods and nothing worked. I ended up taking it into work (I work in a large industrial gas turbine manufacturers) and got one of the guys to stick it on the EDM machine to carefully erode the bleed nipple out. It worked but took two days and would have cost £3000 in machine labour/costs!!
There a bloody pain when they sieze on, hope you can get it sorted !!
