I'm glad I'm not the only one getting a lot of theses big fookers this year I get at least 1 BIG bastid a night, sometimes 2.
I had 2 tonight, one was running up the stairs which the mrs allerted me too. After that came down stairs and one was looking at me on the wall.

The spiders in our house have me spooked, I keep thinking they are on me. The other day I was on the sofa again with the GF and she touched the skin on my back with her foot and I took off into the air across the room then the next day she thought it would be hilarious to walk her hand up my back as I was leaning over the side of the sofa but she didn't realise I was picking up a cup of coffee. Everything was soaked.

King Baboon Spider
Common Group: TARANTULAS & SPIDERS
Common Name: King Baboon Spider
Scientific Name: Citharischilus crawshayi
Distribution: Kenya, Africa
Size: 8 - 9
Behavior
Very aggressive, and VENOMOUS - do not handle. They have 1/2 fangs.
Captive environment
Provide dark hiding places for this species. Keep a large area of moist moss available. Change moist moss every 4-5 days.
When provoked, King Baboons will rear-up on their pencil thick back legs and hiss loudly.
I don't need advice off anyone not to handle that fooker

Goliath
Bird Eater
Theraphosa blondi
This tarantula is indigenous to the rain forest regions of northern South America. This true giant of the spider world is the largest species on earth. Adults have been known to exceed a quarter of a pound in weight with an 11-inch leg span. These animals readily flick painful urticating hairs, and when provoked will bite with their one inch long fangs!
How could you keep such a beast in your home? Do you never think "did I close the lid?"

I just envisioned one of those ridiculous "pets" crawling down my wall. Id get a spade and willing knock a foot wide hole through a brand new houses wall to kill it.
Fuck that entirely

I had two of those huge house spiders on my landing last week... I put a pint glass over it. Then I found a smaller one in the spare room, so I captured that and put in in the same pint glass. Nothing happened at first much to my dissapointment
But the next day the smaller of the two was alive and kicking and the bigger one was toast!

i was still kind to it tho and when my heart beat had returned to normal i put it in a glass and chucked it outside (i did have to drink 1/2 pint of water first really quick incase the spider moved pmsl )
