every now again, although its getting more common now , the car will just stall, it happens when i am driving along and then i have to come to a stop and i put my foot on the clutch the revs come down as they should but sometimes the revs just drop right down and the car stalls . Anyone any ideas?

map/tps/CPS or Phase sensor check the gaps on the last two and check the other sensors too.

Are you on L1 management?

maybe its base idle is too low, the brass idle screw and locknut may have moved.

Do you know how to check this?

ditto what ryan said, if you pull the plug off the ISCV does the car stll.. if so you need to adjust the base idle higher.

also give the throttlebody, ISCV, idle adjuster bypass thingie etc. etc. a damn good clean with carb cleaner as it all gets gummed up pretty easy. we recently cleaned lennie's throttlebody up on his 24v and the idle jumped from hunting at 900rpom to 1800rpm idle it was THAT mingin!

biggins, remember to give it a f**kin good clean whilst you're there take the screw all the way out too and blast inside the screw hole and blast the screw itself.
