can the 1.8 zetec be bored out to 2.0?
also is there and difference in the heads/cams etc?

nope i dont think it can.
cams in the 2.0 are used quite frequently in turbo'd conversions and are different to the regular 1800 ones (rs1800/130ps ones are very similar I think)
2.0 and rs1800 engines also have under piston oil spray to help piston cooling and lubrication.

no the 1800s have a water gallery between the two middle bores
and the 2ltrs dont.
the 2ltr and 1800 heads Look very very similar/
but apparently the 1800 one has a slightly smaller combustion chamber,
so i mated to 2ltr block it will get combustion on the face of the head
(not 100% sure on that though)
