Default Escy GTi Turbo Conversion

Hi all, havin recently started a new job for an engineering firm i have decide to do a turbo conversion on my 1800 zetec. I have 2.0 cams in it which i will be keeping. I have a few questions which need answering first before i think about starting.

1. is there any management designed to work on the standard zetec loom?

2. What inlet manifold should i use? ( Im runnin a 2.0 tb at the mo)

3. Will an rs turbo exhaust fit on a mk6 escort?

4. Will i need to upgrade my fuel pump or gearbox?

5. will it be ok to put a cat on with th turbo or will it kill the cat? Im asking because i know they stopped rst's because of the emissions laws.

Basically fitting the turbo etc and plumbing it in is not a problem as i can do most of the work at work. It's just gettin the blasted wiring done cos im useless at anything like that.

Also if anyone has any parts that i will need except a turbo unless its cheap then that would also be of help.

cheers

What sort of power are you aiming for, low boost is very easy but for decent power its much more complicated.

1.
2. Rover one is well used.
3. Yes bt the drill tap is shit, get an adaptor from PhilM better still custom.
4. Get the box re-built by bernie (gearboxman). Uprated pump for higher boost.
5. Cat will be fine if the car runs lamba control and is proper set-up.

Been reading into this a lot and cossie management seems to be the best solution so far. On zetec-turbo.co.uk trhey used this setup but said about dizzy signals etc. If i get an EsCos ECu do they have a dizzy?? I really am useless at wiring. I can never fet me head round it lol
