I have tried EVERY way to clean my seats, as im quite particular about them, seeing as i spend so much time in them.

Industrial carpet machine isn't too bad, if u don't want to get them too bad.

Pressure washing is the next best. Cover the seats in detergent, and then pressure wash them until soap stops coming out. It takes a while - if u dont rinse them properly, they smell when they dry.

The best is taking the seats apart, and removing all the cloth, and putting them in washing machine. I recommend that you put all the foam/padding in as well. Mine didnt shrink or disintigrate at all. By putting all the foam in, you get out all the sweat thats been absorbed over the last 10 yrs...

Wiping them with a cloth doesnt work. The underneath of the cloth is dirty, and it just comes back to the surface.

Rick.

Waoooo....

Nath, when can we borrow that fantastic machine of yours? Just say so and we'll come to collect.

Pete, you're welcome to come around anytime... think there is a diff somewhere in the garage for ya.... I am going to attack the seats at the weekend and try to undo them.... or maybe not... abit worried about it...

One thing I would NEVER try is the pressure washer... dunno... doesn't seem a good thing to do...
