What was it a tarmac car ? Wont it be geared all wrong for the track ?

Just curious

Well spotted Although to be fair i reckon you could have seen them from the moon lol

Simon + Andy - I may turbo it but i think it may ruin the driveability and certainly won't sound as good as turbo'd engines sound shite imo!

Rob - The mk1 was sold within an hour of me advertising it on here mate sorry!

Matt - I am not keen on the centre exit either and may well change it to something more stock looking but its not top of the priority list at the moment and certainly won't be hitting any speed bumps tucked up there in its own little tunnel! Price wise half what the Gartrac cost me and twice the car

It was built for sprints and yes is geared totally wrong for anything but 0-60's at the mo
Just need to change the 4:6:1 Quaife rear diff for something around the 3:6:1 area

i agree, although turbo engines dont sound "shite" as you have said, but certainly twin carbs do sound the absolute bollox!

If ya interested, I have a 3:77 (approx) rear CWP to raise the ratios a bit, straight out of my old Gartrac Atlas, perfect condition, Ł50, It's been sat in my mates garage for over a year now, but I'm sure it's still there, (If not I want Ł50 of him!) Although I found the 4:6 an awesome ratio, didn't drive it on the road much though.
PM me if ya intersted Spadge.
Andy
