If it takes say, 500 years to acheive time travel, the $1 they invest in the fund for you will have grown to $39,323,261,827 @ 5% yearly.
They use that 39 billion to pay for some bloke to come back in time and get you
Ignoring the fact that $39 billion will probably buy you 20 fags in the year 2505 it's a cool idea

I wasn't going to pay until tomorrow, but they came and got me yesterday, so I don't know if I should bother paying anymore cos its already happened.
I've been to the year 3000, not much has changed but they live underwater.

2. You are retrieved, given the grand tour, and then put back to when you were retrieved, either with or without your memories of the future intact. This may or may not be desirable to you.

Time travel doesn't exist, cant exist and never will exist To believe that time travel exists relies on the fact the future has already happened as you need a future to go to to return to the past, which it hasn't or someone would have come back and if they have it doesn't mean shit The whole time travel theory relies on the fact someone can speed far out into space to meet our forefathers and then come back to the past faster than the speed of light, considerably in this case and even then light is only a reflexion of what we see, so it doesn't change time, just sight, so we must assume they are not there or even discovered time travel and have spent your money on space travel and still haven't reached here or even there yet

EIL132, the theory of time travel is perfectly sound.
Going forward in time is a piece of piss, you just have to go fast enough
Going back gets harder as it involves wormholes and shit
I've ordered a book called 'How to build a time machine' so will know more soon

EIL132, You obviously understand Einstein's special/general relativity theory, and thus you must know that if you were to travel at the speed of light You would have wave characteristics. Ie. have a wavelength and a frequency that when multiplied give the speed of light (some 300000000 metres per second) in accordance with the basic wave formula C=Fxlamda where C= the speed of light.
