Supra power

Guy at work's got a Supra TT, when i asked the spec he reeled off a load of stuff that meant fuck all to me as I know nowt about em, so i just asked what boost its running and he said "standard mate" so whats the MOST it can be with a load of bolt on rubbish and standard boost? and a rough weight would be handy adding a bit on for his silly heavy stereo junk and some 19's?

Toyota Supra 3.0 twin turbo (UK) 1996 As standard:

BHP = 326
Weight = 1549
BHP/Tonne = 213.84

could be standard boost through totally different turbos though... unlikely, i know but you did say he reeled off a load of stuff, and i guess you'd count new blowers as bolt on.

well wang on a Y2k and still run standard boost and youd get fuckloads of power, so useless post without details.

can get mental mental power from std internals

350 ish with exhaust and filter and that sort of stuff on normal boost i should think mate.

So about stage 3 cossie quick roughlty.

imports are less power than uk ones the turbo's are smaller

Imports are 300bhp = 197bhp/tonne.

I reckon his is an import as UK spec stuff usually is usually dearer and rarer in good condition which his is.

Well I'd of listed turbo(s) if he'd of mentioned it, i was refering to purely cheapish bolt on stuff as he listed them by company name only like HKS carlos fandango superhypermufflerbollox like all jap bits are called

Uk ones have glass head lamps, imports have plastic. Its a quick easy check

the easiest way to tell is the uk one has the bonnet bulge /scoop the import doesn't unless of course someone has fitted a uk one lol
Manuals are far faster than autos the autos are fookin dangerous especially in the wet
