was out in the cossie yesterday and on a duel carrage way and a brand new 911 carrera4 came from sliproad and was on trade plates, went to undertake me so i dropped into 3rd about 4000rpm and we both went for it, salesman egging the punter on!!!!!!

anyway i pulled away and changed into 4th with a massive crack off the ALS and i was gone so slowed down and they both came past open mouthed

wonder if he bought it??

so what sort of times 50-100mph do they do????

oh, and mines only on a T35 hybrid at the minute aswell

Yup mines 400bhp and belive it or not i was stuck to the bumper of a Turbo one!!!!!! Couldnt belive it lol, though i didnt have enough to get past and he didnt have any to pull away, well up to 150ishmph

Why pick on the slowest of the breed in standard spec. Even a standard GT2 would have caused you alsorts of probs, i remember one of these at Totb as fast as my 500bhp Cossie at the time & totally standard.
Try the RUF Yellowbird & you would be talking about a car disappearing into the distance. If you have 400bhp then its a Highly modded car & the yellowbird would be a better test.

Anyway, as owner of the fastest cossie in the world, i reckon Rod's got some proper right to mention it and i personally never get bored of hearing about it, if others do they can scroll past him like they wouldnt anytthing else that doesnt interest him, thats the good thing with forums, you read just what you want to.

the point is the porker was going to undertake and the salesman was trying to make a sale

I think the point were making is that a 400bhp taxi performs well compared to what the test driver thought was a car that would out perform most cars he would meet on the road
