best way to strip gloss off door frames and skirtings??

Hi been doing a little today using nitro moors but was wondering if theres a quicker/better way of doing it?

i was thinking about using the heat gun but i tend to burn the wood alittle which messes look up

New door frames and skirting?
Heat gun is your best bet,then clean it up with a sander(or a flap wheel in a drill).
