I have a .fla file that was exported from a .swf file. I need to edit it which i think i can do,

Thing is, its broken down into around 60 odd files. The coding that is in the .fla file can i simply re upload to say macromedia flash?

When you say "the coding" do you mean the original HTML coding thats used to place it ?

not sure my friend, for example in ACTIONS there are 34 files ok. Each one with codes like this below

I got the files using sothink decompiler, but whilst i exported it and got the files in the trial free version I honestly dont know what to do next if this makes sense.

The files contain
ACTION
FONT
IMAGE
SHAPE
SPRITE
BUTTON
FRAME
SOUND
MORPHE SHAPE
TEXT

all have their individual coding, but i am unure as to how to put it all together to work?

Ahh, I think with the sothink decompiler it dosnt re import the sound files.

It would be best to re build it all using the files from the exporter and copying the scripting. Then export the new file and HTML place holder and see what you get.

Sorry, only just seen this again.

That's Flash Actionscript - Flash's native scripting language. You may have to cobble it all together, as ripping the .fla out of the .swf doesn't give you quite the same as the original .fla ...... as you can see with the way it has distributed the data over 60 odd files.

Flash should have ALL the coding inside the FLA which then exports into the .swf! Can you not find the original .FLa anywhere?

as above you need the original FLA it will not be the same trying to break down the swf

i snatched the file using sothink decompiler using the trial version. Didnt realise to actually buy programme it is 99 quid to get the files back together
