please will someone explain dump valves , and why they are of NO advantage to an escort rst , and why some cars do run better with them ??

No need for them AT all on an Mfi RST

Only high powered cars really to stop stalling

My mum used to like the sound when she was driving my old FRST.

That's the only reason for a dump valve I think!
