Default Motorised screen dvd player to fit saff cos

Wanted a bit of help any saff cos owners out there with a motorised screen fitted to the standard din hole where the origional stereo was?

What make and model and can u still get them dont mind which one but has to clear the overhang when screen out....

As far as I know, there isn't one that extends far enough, and even if there was, I'd be worried about hitting it with my fingers on fast gearchanges.

I've made a holdler that fits where the computer module and clock are, most have fitted them in the top air vents.

If you don't want to loose your vents, in a past conversation chip suggested putting the vents where the stereo normally goes, sounds like a good idea, but I haven't looked into the feasibility.

no but my wife is very happy ,she watches it as we drive ,it opens too far for the centre console

i have fitted mone in the top vents where nyou normally put the gauges
then you can put the gauges where the radio goes

Hello mate, I just made a surround for mine to bring it forward so it would clear everything, still fits down the bottom and clears fine, just can't see the clock when it is up, viewing is still easy as most of the screens have adjustable tilt.

Soon a 6 Defi gauges ACT, boost, oil preasure, oil temperature, water temperarute and fuel Preasure, 3 up in the air ventilation and other 3 down of screen!!
