Another dump valve question ......
at what boost would you draw the line on a S2 and say, yes, I need a dump valve to protect my turbo.
The turbo in question is a Hybrid T3 Stage3 from Turbo Technics.

i wouldnt, its fine without one, even at 2 bar!

you'll never need a dump valve on a T3. only on T4+ or equivelant equiped cars, so stop looking for an excuse to put one on Stu

its the sound of the turbo stalling due to the boost pressure forcing its way back thru the blades.
which just doesnt sound too healthy.
it is chatter tho
