head unit probs in my car
alrite people got my 1st car and had a shit old head unit with bad wirin but i wired my sub and amp to see if they worked and it was all shit and slopy ( really bad) the amp and sub are new today and are made to run with each other ( alpine gear ) . what do you lot think i got a felling its the head unit ?

Luke,
how did you wire the head unit to the amp ? Did you use the speaker outputs or line level outputs (red and white RCA) ?
If you used speaker outputs, you need to make sure your amp can cope with the high level inputs, otherwise it will be in massive overload unless the volume is REALLY low.
