Default what motorway car??????

just wanted some opinions on what my other options are?

soon as the westy sells im getting a better car for the motorway trip every weekend. dont really wana spend much more than 5k.
at the moment im looking at a new shape mondeo tdci, probably ghia or zetec one

anyone had any dealings with these?
or anyone recomend another car in that bracket. needs to be biggish and good on fuel, not look to shit and the more toys inside the better

i do lots of motorway driving everyday, for past 6 yrs, and have had diesals and petrol cars, so far the best car i have driven on the motorway is my mondeo st24, although fuel wise its not very practical but i really get fucked of with diesals, my mate has a tdci focus on a 53 plate and says its great, the golfs are cool also, Karens mums boyfriend had a tdci mondeo on a 54 plate and said it was a very nice drive,

my laguna rt sport was a nice dull drive on the motorway also
