Default can DNCF's be turbo'd?

I know that the 40 DCOE's can be turbo'd and indeed did have a turbo specific model and maybe an aftermarket kit to add to standard ones - but has anyone seen DNCF's turbo'd? ie the downdraft 40's? im wondering what the differences were between the std DCOE and the turbo variation.

I ask as I have a spare couple of DNCF's in my garage and was thinking maybe a single one would go well on my XR2TT as the next upgrade. The 32/34 DFT handles the boost but has a couple of leaks which are all but impossible to fix. The DNCF seems a much more robust carb also, and may provide more consistent fueling at various throttle/boost points.
