I was there on the day, and honestly nobody seems to believe a Cossie is anything at all anymore unfortunatley, so when he did that everyone was proper shocked, especially as it was full of Ferrari's, TVRs, and Porkers.

I knew a few of them from meeting them at Supercar Top Speed day a few weeks before, but I think they thought I was messing about, lol...

700bhp AMG SPEC SLR?!?!?! Fook me their fast as fuck as it is Althou they are tuned AMG engines anyway from memory as standard, will have to ask about that at work

the SLR is a Mclaren engine. surprised there is an amg version. All the slrs are maintained by mclaren and not mercedes. My mate is a Merc tech and he said they will never see one in the workshop cause it will goto a specially built mclaren facility.

Engine wise their still mercs thou mate just mclaren tweeked, from memory alot of bits are taken from the SL55. Theres a service centre for them is in Sheerwater just down the road from where we are at the main technology centre

Wouldnt surprise me if companys like AMG etc are able 2 squeeze a bit more out of them thou, as i say will have 2 ask at work
