Default Lesson Learned - Fix those niggly problems!

Sat on M25 this morning in the fast lane traffic comes to halt. I slow down to a stop. Go to pull away but being 8am Im not quite with it and stall Now, for the past few months I've had a problem with a lose or dirty wire on the starter motor which stops it from turning over every now and again - just give it a wiggle and press and it starts up fine - just havent had the time to get under the car and find out exactly what it is and fix it.

so there I am sat with engine stalled, go to turn key... nothing.. Bollox! At this point traffic picks up ahead of me and are off.

So had to proceed to pop bonnet, get out and reach down into hot engine bay (thank god starter motor is on inlet side!) and give starter motor wire a wiggle. As I drop bonnet down I can see the fast lane of the M25 at a total stand still for as far as I could see.

Luckly car then started and I was on me way!

The lesson here is when you own a ford, keep in the slow lane because its easier to push into the hard shoulder from there
