Default Runners... advice?

help!

I've got one month to train for a 13.1 mile run.

I've had a new job, working away etc etc and have sooo left it to the last minute.

anyone got any good advice at what sort of training I should do (distance and frequency) to get ready for it.

i can do 7 mile in one go but that nearly kills me lol and takes 50 mins.

any advice muchly appreciated!! oh and any food good etc for endurance?

Whenever I go, I eat a small meal of carbs 2 hours before starting and have a few drinks of water up until an hour before.

Alternatively you could have 3 raw eggs in a milkshake every morning and listen to "eye of the tiger" a lot

Least you havent left it toooooo late! (I'd sponsor you if I had some money )
Best thing for running IMO is to always go with someone else! I dont think Id go more than a mile on my todd

To avoid stitch try breathing slowly through your nose whilst running.

Nothing like leaving stuff till the last minute!

I tend to get stitches if I eat too close to going (see my times before, they are spot on ) also if I start with too much, IE long steep slope. If I just go on the flat at a peaceful pace for 15min or so then its all good

Bearing in mind im jogging not running though
