On these (mine) and Daves Air injectors, there is a tiny hole drilled in the bottom, blue screw in blank, you can just about see it in the pic...... on mine there is also an engraving which reads "0.8" presumably this means the hole is 0.8mm in diameter...

Why is this done, do I need it? Only I am going to be buying new blanks, OR wont buy new blanks if I NEED it there lol

BTW Daves hole is noticably bigger than mine

The hole is required and it must be on the side of the air injectors that are connected to the actuator. The size of hole determines the sensitivity and range of boost control available for a given set of air injectors and varies depending on injector flow rate and of course mapping of the air injectors. I recommend leaving it at 0.8mm for now and leave any size changes for your mapper.

A hole is required because without one if at any time the air injectors are mapped closed there is no way pressure in the line to the actuator can be vented which would result in the actuator holding the same position at the momment the air injectors shut.
