IM DESPERATE ........

will there be anyone at donnington that can help me with adjusting my fueling on saturdday or sunday?????


if not can anyone tell me the best way to set it up .. ie pressure guage etc....

have a 044 fuel pump to fit on friday night thanks to JON FOZ .. all being well that PON can source the parts tomorrow
a day earlier than i asked for ... no pressure rich

also need a set of these 071 ford plugs .. a rockercover gasket and possibly a new head ...

the fueling issue is the biggest problem i have as im starting work at 5:30 friday morning ..im hoping to get the plugs and gasket tomorrow if i can afford em and will be leaving on friday evening .....

will post a pic of my plug in a minute ..

are you sure new plugs will screw in the head.

there is some alloy on them plugs from the thread.

had the rocker cover off tonight and have run a tap through it .. seems to have made a thread ... put a plug in it to get me home... felt like it had tightened up sufficiently aswell my mechanic was a bit happier after he had looked at it ....

its comin apart this year to have a bit of a look at .. all the oil seals etc so might see if it needs helicoiling ....

was a bit stressed when it came out looking a bit silver on the end

Fitting a new pump wont adjust teh base fuelling Pete, so you should be fine to leave it as Mark set it pal

Fuel delivery is dealt with by the fuel pressure regulator, and as long as the pump can keep up, it wont change no matter wether you fit 1 pump or ten in parallel, the pressure at the rail is maintained by the regulator, as its name suggests
