What turbos are you lot running?
Apart from T3, T34 T4 etc.
Just wondering what other spec turbos you lot are running and for what power etc?
Just been toying with idea that while im in the US i might see how much i can pic up a new blower for as i know a T34 is on it knees at 400bhp, so i like to have things that can easly cope with the power
Im kinda swaying for GT30 as i can go a tad more power then to

phil i am.
i cant be arsed to push to 600-620
just going to make it a as you say a "solid" 550.
The turbo will piss that all day long.
Also this way i can use standard rods, crank, etc.
My money is going to be stretched at the end of the year as im buying another house. So need to think about the future
But who knows, business might boom and go with it anyway

seems a weird choice to have such a big blower on there (and hence the lag and high rpm threshold for boost to start at etc) and then go for tamer power, surely a slightly smaller turbo would be a better bet for that spec, or is it a case of "ive got it now so im going to use it anyway"

chip, yes i got it at such a good price i couldnt really turn it down and alter spec according, the turbo will be just as repsonsive if not more as GT35 at 550 im told.
As its always said its all in the head and cams.
Plus i could use NOS or ALS or both to help it along

LeeCavTurbo, is that a 200sx stainless manifold but put onto a mild steel flange that you are using there?
Ive got similar for mine and im a little worried about getting cracking in the stainless if it gets really up to temperature.
Do you have a support bracket of some sort to take the weight, cause if not its a fore gone conclusion it will fail i reckon!

red16: going on a Let engine, 7.9:1 j.e's and arrows ,extensive head work, large injectors and dta p8pro
some pics below,
Chip, yeah we talked about it b4 ,it is the nissian manifold welded on to a STAINLESS flange but i have had it heat treated especially for the application, however it is thinner than i would like but as Matheus is doing his manifold for Ł100 ish i'm not to fussed if it does crack as i would get one of those from our brazillian friend
