Default Dunlop do1j's whats the verdict?

Have set of these for sunday anybody got exp with this tyre any good?
Anygood for 1/4 mile runs?

Track tyre, very good for a road legal job. Not as good for 1/4 miles as a proper drag tyre and not as good on the track as a slick.

Probably better than poo normal road tyres though.... don't get caught in a downpour with alot of standing water about though!

No need to add much to that ,spot on. Try BFG Drag Radials for the strip.

Bfg's nittos or M/T's for drag racing street legal, Nitto and BFG do nice fast road compounds which are good on track.

I would actually think a few gentle heat cycle or two may be quite good for them. Not too sure, but I have heard that going straight out on a hard track session on brand new totally fresh road rubber can total the tires completely through heat shock.
