Default Caliper Colour

Hello all

Im trying to decide what colour to paint my calipers and whilst i have usually got it right in the past iv become a little stuck this time due to the colour of the car.

Below are a few pics of what the car used to look like. I dont have any recent pics but basically iv put new wheels on it. These are the 5 spoke Khans.

Now many of you will be able to guess that the Khans show alot more of the brakes than the gold wheels.

So any 1 suggest a colour for the calipers?

If its not on the poll then mention it in your post. And some pictures would be excellent to get an idea.

Thanks to every 1 who has voted so far, the results so far seem to be making the decision harder!

Has any 1 got a picture of a Ford with painted calipers on it?

There is a standard powder-spray colour .. just like (what I call) Ford Essex Blue ..
Just done my 4x4 calipers/carriers for the Mk4. Look right when you glimpse the m through the spokes. I think red looks a bit garish, and the other light colours pretty gay

Nice 1 Al, true opinion!!!

You wouldnt have any pics of your calipers would you?

My minds pretty much made up on either the Blue or Red but im not quite 100% sure on which 1

Do i match the calipers to the car or go for a different look?

I can take in the next day mate .. I was supposed to take a couple of something else for another member, so I will do before tomorrow mate

Dont think there will be "much" difference to the eye .. depending on the wheel spoking, of course. If the car looked a bit gay (which it doesnt) I'd say go for Pink .. to be different

Done mine yellow ages ago. Stood out really well against the black bodywork.

Gone off it now though and won't be painting the new brakes

Bex - All i can say at the minute to Yellow is ......... hhmmmmmmm

Cossiemen - That was about the only picture i could find and it doesnt really give any sort of idea as you cant see the car in the same picture, its just a picture of the brakes.

I really want to see a picutre of the whole car where the caliper is visible so i can get an idea of what colour caliper goes with which colour bodywork!

My Mk4 van wheels/pics with the Khan lookalikes that I have ... fitted too. .....

Not much to be seen here .. present (winter wheels)

They're actually darker than they look here!

Dont look too bad for an oldun .. No bodykit and bumpers fitted yet
