Why do i fucking bother

Doing an easy job (well so i thought) An oil change on my Derv!!

Taking the oil filter off using the old screw driver through the filter trick when i was knocking the screw driver in the filter i sliped with the hammer and knock the radiator! cause a small jet of water to come out

No i have to get my rad re cored when im skint as it is get a new engine for the cossie!

So at the moment i feeling Very fucked of

Phil dont worry mate its staying parked up now and i aint touching the fooking thing! just going to get a lift back and for work now fuck it nearly put my hand through the window to but i slowed down right at the last min as i know i would only have to pay for a new window aswell

Depending where the hole is could you not put a blob of weld on the outside to fix it??

its right at the top of the Rad, piss easy to get to and its only a small spray!! fooking thing! was thinking of chucking rad weld in it! but i dunno about that as it will gunk up the rest of the engine etc.

How 'bout Araldite. It works wonders if you get the area dead clean.

get some expoxy resign stuff. Our washing machine drum got a whole in it and its been fine for 5+ years now

Just done the oil change on the Focus and the cossie too.

Can get a metal type of filler, may do the job.

pinch the hole with a pair of pliers, clean all the paint off and solder it up with a flame type torch!!! Job Done!!

Same thing with this how to put it on the Rad!! the hole is Very small and is near the top of the rad the a Very fine jet of water that comes out of it! so hopfully it can be repared with out taking rad of etc?

well make the hole abit bigger if you want and mix the resign up roughen the area with a bit of sand paper and apply it over the whole.

Couple of Eggs in the system. Free range seem to work best. Make sure the engines cold when you drop them in then run it for 10 mins then turn it off and let it cool down. Leave it for as many hours as you can whilst the Yolks harden and it'll be fine.

Why does nobody ever just buy an Oil filter strap for a fiver
