Anyone seen the new road angel, built in sat nav and speed camera detection. Looks like its 600 odd sheets however.

pops in that case the road angel2 is the one ya want as the snooper S4neo cant display them all at the same time, theres a better function though on the snooper though

thats you can set it to normal roads or motorways, meaning when ya on the M1 doing 72mph ya dont have to slam on the brakes for a speed camera on a road thats running along side the motorway

works the other way too aswell

BUT it can have it detect both as well, also when ya go below 70 then it reminds ya that ya on motorway function

also the display is green led lit so matches the dash, act gauge, secs monitor and the alpine head unit

whe the road angel 2 is in blue only matchs the newer cars

both work just as well though, just the roadangel displays more

if ever ya wanna borrow my snooper just ask and ya can trial it for a bit

RA doesnt do Radar.

Origin B2 does if you buy the Radar add on.

I got a B2 and its been good so far. 1 false Laser when I was on the M25 near the Heathrow works. But no problems other than that. Plus its only Pager sized so you can take it with you easily. The cradle is small and just looks like a phone holder when left in the car. Where as RA2 (and the new GPS Map version) are fairly big.

S6R is hated generally. Too many false alarms, and looks shite.

Road Angel 2 detects Radars, providing you have it mounted in a sensible place in the windscreen

you know its funny, because even the makers dont say it can!

So sick of people thinking they know the answers when they dont. If you dont know, and this goes to anybody, then shut the fuck up.

funny ya say that as the road angel does radar with the relvent add on being bought

shame its only good for detecting bus stops and sainsburys doors though

must admit i agree, hate when people talk abiut things they dont know

oh and the snooper can get a radar add on, thats crap too, also the parts thats gonna be made illegal so pointless in every way

STF UP. Jesus why are half the PF users deficient!

http://www.blackspot.com/onlineshop/...list.php?sid=2

No RADAR accessory availiable for the RA2. Thats why I bought the B2. Also the B2 accepts inputs from a diffuser and can be made into 1 large system.

Which is nice.

I been trialing my Navman ICN-510 sat nav unit with the latest list of redlight, gatso, truvelo, specs cameras....and its picked them all up so far and told me in a sexy lady voice

I wouldn't trust it as much as a road angel though, they are pretty much bullet proof for warning you about cameras

I got the snooper S6R Neo, the GPS bit for the fixed camreas is very good, you can add your own 'points' and it will remember them at the touch of a button.

It's also got a compass telling you what direction you are going and you can vary the distance you want the warning from the fixed cameras i.e from 100m to 1000m. It also give the speed you are going, but i know for sure that this isn't as quick to update as the Road Angels.

When you need to update it, you just plug it into the phone line coz it's got a modem built in, but this does maen that it's rather on the LARGE side, but i have made a bracket to fit over the air vent nearest my door and i think it looks pretty good sitting there.

I've got the added radar/laser detection unit, and to be honest i could throw it in the bin coz it is always going off and i've gone past 2 mobile cameras and it hasnt made a sound
