Default engine swap, will it fit?

hi all , is it possible without cutting and modifying parts to swap the I4 engine of a '96 rs2000 for a zetec 1.8 or 2.0 ? will it fit straight in?
and does the rs2000 mtx75 housing fit to the zetec, any differences wether it be the 1.8 or 2.0 ?
the plan is to turbocharge the zetec.
thx guys!

yep i know its possible, but it is a bit harder and i think more expensive to turbocharge the I4 right? is the I4 strong enough to withstand turbo power ?
anyone know whats involved? cheers

Better plan would be to sell the RS 2000 and buy a GTi as it has a zetec in it, then take it from there, there is no point ripping the I4 out of the RS2000 to put in a zetec when you can buy a zetec'd car to start with.

I would keep the i4, I've heard it's a very good engine, and is basically a 16v pinto.

There was a guy called Kenny who turbo'ed one of these and it was very quick, like low 13 second quarter mile quick!! Do a few posts for him, as realistically, it your turboing a modern engine, you gona have to have it apart anyway to lower the compression etc, so why not do that with the i4 rather than doing the same work with a Zetec?

I think Kenny used to work for MSD? No sure though
