Default silly question probably

Just had a new sub fitted it me ERST, and ive got to go through the 60 hour running in period, the problem is i have a company van and hardly drive the RS so 60hrs would probably mean it wont be run in until next year.
now I was just wondering if i was to bring it a work with me when im on nights, and let it run through the night with the engine off but just running off the battery but have the batt connected to a charger would i do any damage to anything?
just want to get it run in so i can turn it up and get full affect as it has cost me enought.
