Ask if the exhaust valves are sodium filled, if the seller cannot be 100% sure, walk away or they'll melt as soon as you get some boost on.

I have not seen that complete kit before, but, someone on eBay sells exhaust valves for less than half price on a regular basis, but doesn't know if they are sodium filled, might be the same person.

his lifters are INA lifters and frog thats the same guy who sells em sperate

basicly they should be sodium filled on the zorst side but they wont melt if there not, but there is a reason why there ment to be, think its for big boost ect though ya need em

Ginge, the sodium is used to keep them cool, I guess high EGT "could" melt them I wouldn't chance them unless running a normally aspirated configuration to be honest, too expensive to fix an engine with loads of melted valves

frog im going from other cars that dont have em fitted, i belive there was a thought but it wasnt proved to help, the stems are sodium filled but the actual valves aint so they wont melt as easy as what ya might be of the understanding

remember that most cossies are 330bhp and tbh dont give that high a EGT

but im no expert, just going by 3rd hand info as ive never actually melted a cossie engine so i guess my comment dont mean anything ( not a dig at you greg, its incase another member replies on here )

i personaly would consider ideas but i would want to ask the ones who have already bought em off him on Ebay as there have been a few, i was gonna buy a set of lifters off him till he told me there made by INA and so i never

then i had matt on here take the piss as the cossie ones are made by INA

but by then i bought a set for 50 euros from germany , they was ina ones too but where also GENUINE cosworth,,,,,,,,,,,,, but made by INA

but they was cheep just like me
