sounds excellent, i would be up for it, may i suggest if folk are travelling a fare way you stop in the lake district for a night as there are plenty of nice places to stop and see. break the long journey up north nicely, plus i live in the lakes and its the perfect opportunity to meet the convoy.

On the TT Forum two guys did a tour of the UK, meeting up with different members along the way.
They said the driving in Scotland was AMAZING, they even had two way radios to enable "safe" overtaking!
Sounds like a top idea to me.
