Works fine

I am upgrading to TomTom 500 Bluetooth - no other reason

lmao @ atoz there are loads of pda based tomtom ones on ebay at the mo.

motorworld are doing a bluemedia system just now with 3d viewing, touch screen and biult in GPS speed camera detector for a few pence under ya 300.....its the bollox. Ive used one and its really good for the money. Infact, im droppin hints at one for me birthday..........

£439.99 - Cheapest anywhere

Had to subscribe to their monthly e-mail newsletter to gain a £30.00 voucher (yet another entry into my Norton anti-spam - lol)

cheapest way for satnav incar is:-

cheap pda from ebay like a HP Ipaq
bluetooth receiver
cradle mount for car
TomTom5 satnav software (backucps available cheap on ebay as well )

job done!

warning some sat nav's dont have the M6 toll road, when ya on it it tells ya your driving through a field

agreed i think thats cheap especially as bluetooth etc too

i use tomtom on my nokia 6600 with bluetootyh gps unit, works superbly although expect will sell it soon for a more fixed unit like the tomtom or medion unit

Why choose a PDA version of Tom Tom, rather than the Tom Tom Go units, is it purely for price reasons?
