erst, whats best way to center clutch up>>

hi all, doin the clutch and rebuilding it today just wondering whats the best method to center the clutch up ? i no your supposed to have a tool, but ther is other ways, what have peeps used?

ive always just done it by eye,never had a problem,but if your worried then id use an alining tool
