Whoo-hoo! PC fixed - back on ADSL again!
Pc went tits up Wednesday, had to take it in to be sorted so in the mean time I was stuck with my old pony laptop and a 56k connection 
Even worse was the PCM modem card for the laptop prolly only did about 36k
Thank fuck thats all done - I'll never diss 512k ADSL again
I managed to get on here a few times with laptop, but it took nearly 3 mins to jsut sign in
