Default Steering Rack

How can you tell if the rack has gone on your car, my steering on my series one still feels vague and just not right. I ve replaced most of the other parts of the suspension and guess the rack is the last thing to do?

I'm trying to get it ready for national day so any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Trev

does it make any noises when turning lock to lock?

Is there any left and right play in the steering wheel when turned?

might not be set up if you have replaced the other sus. parts.

Will have to get it tracked etc.....then see what it's like then.
