Thread size on cossie block...............
Need to know the thread size on the exhaust side of the cossie block where people take their breather pipes from.

You can get the adapter...I think goodridge do them....i got some recently Rich...i can check in the morning they may have been parellel adapters and we have re-tapped the blocks and used a copper washer....justed checked the catalogue they are listed parellel...goodridge part no 741-06-10...these are the ones we have used to -10 on the breather...
All the other suppliers should have an equiv...

So are they actually 3/8 npt then tony? hold my hand up...I have defo done them to bsp on 2 blocks recently no probs and did exactly the same as rich's mate I thought they were 5/8 unf at first....

Yes, but surely it could well be a tapered BSP thread.
I'm guessing it is, as I have a 3/8BSP to -10JIC adaptor in my hand, and it fits perfectly as you wind the first few turns before going tight on the thread.

just checked this with Ray at Julian godreys, youre right there is such a thing as BSP-T , but its almost identical to NPT anyway . The thread size is 1/4 BSP-T apparently but the 1/4 NPT screws in too .

Definitely not 1/4 Tony, as that's tiny!
I have both 3/8BSP and 3/8 NPT sat in front of me, and both will screw in four or five turns, and then tighten up!
This is a real pain in the arse!

Tell u wot...caused some hassle this one....it is actually 3/8 x 18 npt as tony says....hand held up....but bsp will go as I said.... get the fooker wound in....

Rich, I think 30cm will be too short, I checked my list earlier and the shortest I had listed was 15 Inches, BUT I may have over compensated on my measurements... time will tell
Dave, why dont you lend rich your adapter so he can identify it
