and what do the breakers do with them as I never seem to see any for sale except the odd rally car

 

plenty for sale on e bay.

Could pay up to Ł1000-Ł1500 for a shell with good id.

Most go for a good few hundred ŁŁŁ.

Going to look at a Gartrac mk3 escort tomorrow but if its not any good then I might be on the way to yours for a swatch at that saff, will you take a moonstone 2wd shell in part exchange mate ??

 

All depends what is left on the shell David.

What condition the shell is in etc....

Most buy newer shells to re shell and old fooked car into a later shell.

Some people just buy the saff to take out the engine box loom etc...for their project and then sell the rest of it on.

A shell is not going to be worth much if fully stripped and not good condition just because its got a gen cos id on it.

Dave it a fairly good solid shell, i bought it complete but ended up with 11 points shortly after and just left it in the garage, since taken the engine,box,prop,diff,brakes,ecu,map sensor and a few other little bits out. Going to look at this other car so dont know if I'll need more off it.
