Standard is 3.64 so a 3.3 will be alot longer in the gears more top end at less revs if you can pull it

mike

they should be able to take decent power / torque they are no different to a 7" cossie crown wheel and pinion

using those figures, 5000RPM in a standard cossie T5 5th gear would be 130.08 MPH, and at 8000RPM would be 208.13

this is a good site to do gearing, final drive and wheel and tyre calculations
http://www.kabamus.com/garage/gears.html

and on 17" rims same tyre size 5000RPM= 135.72 MPH and 8000RPM= 217.14MPH

The Granada diff is actually 3.36 and is what I had in my car.

Are you trying to build a quick diesel or something?

Mike,
Given that the CWPs for the different diffs are not interchangeable, hazard a guess .

going on a previous reply by you, you say you had one in your car, therefore, if this was the sapphire, then i would hazard a guess at 7.5", but hey, i'm sure i'll be wrong, or even if i'm right, you'll still find somew way to take the piss...
