warped disc ,had a 335 disc skimmed as in on a machine that skims cylinder heads but its still not 100%, can you send them anywhere so they can be skimmed while the bell is on it and mounted like it is on a car, i.e as in the way the skim wheels etc on a lathe if you know what i mean

The strut brace - The discs should be skimmed on a lathe , if the discs have been done and have no run-out , it could be the hubs that are running out , which is why you still have the feeling of warped discs , if you want your discs checking out be me send them to me and i'll have a look at them.
TF rallysport - perhaps you should find out the facts on this before making childish remarks like that , my discs have prooved themselves on hundreds of track cars and rally cars for over 15 years , I am the only one who gives a 12 month guarantee against warping even doing track days , perhaps you should find another way of boosting your own sales......
Nutter - care to explain to me what your on about
Cheers Ian

yes , the only problem Eagle has is his lead right foot , after over a year of driving like a fooking nutter , and doing track days he has some heat cracks / crazing on his discs , which if you drive hard / do track days with a hard pad capable of high temps , any make of disc would do this

So where in your ' wealth of experience ' have you tested my brakes and come to the conclusion that they are ' toy town shit ' ??
I have done loads of discs for rally cars , I do an AP replacement copy which is popular , Many an EVO and Subaru is running them ,
As for rallying Ive been doing it for about 20 years so also know what is needed from a braking point of view
Just because its not AP , doesnt make is shit , ask most of the works teams as they use Alcon....

Not everyone has the money for AP's Tim.
I do agree about chucking them and replacing with new ones tho'. Even better if Ian is offering a free replacement under a 12 month warranty

well no further forward for me than i was after combe ... got no money to get a new set before nat day due to a bank balls up .(still trying to get it sorted)
i know its my fault they can not last a year as my excessive amount of track days kills em (all 3) .
have also found out that a certain trader can do me a set of ap's at a very close price to what i orig paid ian for his 330 kit .. so not entirely happy would have much prefered an 355 ap kit ....

I have Ian's 325mm Setup on the cossie (even supplied new
copper brake line to replace originals too), had no probs
with them so far, and i give plenty of late braking etc, even
a bit of left foot if i am feeling brave ..lol..
They work really well thus far
With regards to AP, Brembo have just bought them out,
the new AP callipers are exactly the same as bremo's
so are the discs, it is only the bells which are different
on Ian's Setup
