Fao engine experts Damaged pistons on series 1 rst!!
the pistons on my rs turbo have been marked due to coming into contact with the valves because of being over reved! The marks are approx 2mm in depth. Just wondering if it's safe to use them after having head re - built? My enjine is low comp and running about 22psi.

Have the pistons pocketed so the valves will just sit in the pistons rather than come in contact, it will lower comp but wouldnt think it would be noticable
