As the title says anyone off this board moving to Melbourne?
I work for a shipping company & walked in the yard this morning only to be faced with a Blue F plated Cossie...................
Anybody know who owns her??

lol
I made the mistake of filling up the fuel tank the last time I had one packed and shipped and leaving the road tax on it (it was gone when it reached the destination)

about 1300 all up including insurance which is very good especially compared to the other companies out there who want around the 2000 mark for the container alone.

Charges when going into Australia are GST which is 10% and Duty which varies. There used to be a luxury car tax I belive although I think that has been scrapped, more so on older cars. The car also has to be complied there as well which fortunately doesnt require loads of work.
There are other smaller charges but they are all fixed like steam cleaning etc. Luckily have a friend in the clearance side of things who has offered to help bring it through so will see how it goes.
