Sorry Jim, i meant how the car will drive differently with this new setup. If you notice any more lag or not compared to how the 0.48 used to be.

ANDREAS : Already driven it, and can definately say it has no more lag than a T34/5.

And that's just on Karls running in map which limits me to 5500rpm and 23psi. Drove it yesterday and it just hits 5500rpm before you know it. So when its properly mapped I'll let you know. But so far, its just unbelievable. Big Power (Relatively Speaking) without all the lag. And Ohhhhhh so much torque. Done 200 miles so far, and no leaks, no problems at all.

Main difference is obviously due to the Karls modified head, Cams and the Turbo, Not sure what affect the low compression 7.5:1 has, apart from the obvious (More Boost and reliability).

But to me, it's the quickest it's ever been. Much better than when it was a stage 3 (326bhp on Nobles Rollers) and (352bhp at Engine Advantages with Grey's and the T4). Never really did find out why the T4 had much more lag than Karls other cars with the same set up. Power just wouldn't come in until 5500rpm, and at Engine Advantages the power was still climbing at 7500rpm, but he wouldn't take it any further (Probably a good idea in retrospect). Power just kept climbing, and I'm sure it would have just kept piling on the power way over 8,000rpm and probably made close to 400bhp. But didn't want to risk the engine just for the sake of bhp.

Couldn't be bothered trying to find out what the problem was with the T4, So I chopped it in against the T38 as in reality, I decided I prefered a torquey engine over a screamer. First impressions are that I'm going to get what Karl promised. 400lbs of torque, and at least 420bhp.

Just trying to find out now, which Cone Type Air Filter to use. Want one that dosen't cause too much induction noise......???? and a Dump Valve the same (Minimal Ptschhhhhhhhhh) F-cking hate it, but I do need one with this turbo. (Same reasons as when using a T4)

VERY VERY HAPPY SO FAR, AND IT'S STILL NOT BEEN FINALLY MAPPED YET
