That's what I was expecting - the details have either been tampered with (?) or the car isn't all it appears.

The driver ran off from the scene of the accident without seeing whether the girl was injured. He turned himself into the police station a while later. All I know about him is he's a member of a local travelling community and he's assaulted my brother before.

Makes it worse that there's a school less than 1/4 mile from the crash site.

Really, really at the moment.

I expect in tbhe RAC check saffycossie didn't highlight the bit on the other side of the table to copy the numbers over, only copied hte collumn telling you what the numbers represent!

Apparently another friend came up with the same information - last user change and number of owners isn't on the system for that vehicle.

Does anyone know why that might be?

RAC check isnt very good tbh, very inconclusive data.

The best info you're gonna get is from DVLA which is as follows:

Odd thing about it is it wasn't registered for 2 years after it was built Unless could've been an import I guess.

Basically what the above tells you is that the last V5 was issued 2 weeks after the car was first registered (standard practice) which also suggests this is the only V5 ever issued, meaning its only ever had one owner
