Do you mean a narrow band sensor?

If so, the correct way to connect it on a turbo car is:
Take from box
Place on floor
Stamp on it repeatedly
Throw bits in bin

They are fucking useless from a tuning point of view, only any good for economy.

Wires on most are normally:
one to positive
one to negative
one to lamda sensor signal wire (varies from car to car, you need to check with a volt meter which it is on yours)
possibly one to illumination depending on the model of dial

If will NOT tell you if your car is running properly though.

For example:
6000rpm @ 20psi of boost on a turbo motor you want to be what sort of AFR? (11-12 is the answer normally)

So for exmaple your car is running at 14:1, which is too lean and will blow a gasket probably.

and your new narrow band gauge will read:
FULL RICH - Everything OK

THATS why i hate the fooking things so much, its not just that they dont tell you anything useful, they actually lie to you effectively!

People see all the way Rich and assume that means that their car isnt running dangerously lean when it is!
