Default will these maps start my car?

dilema is , i have a new rebuilt engine and a new engine management system that i will get mapped professionally, but i need to start the car and get it to run without it coughing and spluttering and take it to 3000rpm for obligatory running in stage,
now i don't know if the sample maps in the ecu package will suffice?
plus i need it to run to drive it to the mappers
dta p8pro.

.

Honest answer - I don't know, lol.

Speak to your mapper and see if they can send you a base map, based on your spec'.

doesn't the fuel map sort it self out with a lambda connected for anything less than full throttle?

ive done abit of work with dta and find it a very hard system to try and map, ok ive no experiance with it until this project thats been happening , but ive been unable to adjust the ign/fuel real time on each individual load site, th eonly way was by a global adjustment in either a percentage or by numerical value, there are also a hell of a lot of setup procedures related to the the closed loop setup before you can use it to set up the fuelling. was considering it for my own car but after trying to use it for a friend found it very UN- user friendly - will look forward to hearing how you get on pal.

oh and as for the maps, im with bill, ign sort of ok enough-ish , the fuel all relevant to your fuel system pal
