quick timing question (4x4)

Default quick timing question (4x4)

when timing up the 4x4 cossie engine, what do you line up on the crank pulley?do you put the bit that sticks out in line with the mark on the block or the little cut out?cheers in advance! just seen the cam timing is def out on my car and want to make it right to see if iv destroyed anything!

you line the mark on the block with the TRAILING EDGE of the TDC mark on the crank pully.

the dizzy pully timing mark will be pointing to the half moon at 1 oclock

and the cam pully timing marks will be pointing to each other in line with the line where the camcover mates to the head
