Whats wrong with your knee?
To me a brace is something you wear pre-op or a few weeks post-op.
Used to do PT 3 times a week for several years, first trying to get well without op and when that failed had to do it all over again after surgery.

keep on the case rudes
was getting my weekly bollocking off my boss yesterday after bumping the van again anyway i asked him what the crack was with his leg and he said in
1973 a lorry ran over him when he was on his motorbike, broken pelvis, broken arm and his leg got broker in 53 places !!!!!!!
he was in hospital for 10 months, they told him originally hed have to have his leg amputated, then they said hed be in a wheelchair for the remainder of his days, then he carried on and got himself on crutches they said hed be on crutches for life, he was, for 12 years, but hes been off crutches for over 10 years and walks around fine, his leg looks like its been badly burnt, and is pretty thin but i didnt even know he had a bad leg till i seen him in his shorts.
Just goes to show if your up for it you can overcome most things

Good luck with it Rudey, you know what you have to do now. I was hit by a car when I was on my bike, couldn't walk for months and they had to operate on my legs, I used to be 6'2 now I'm 5'5 and I'm fine

Stay focused and positive M8 you got so much going for you in other areas, try keep the focus on them rather than areas of weakness.
Youve come such a long way
I recall being told by a surgeon close on 4 years ago 'Its very likely that you wont walk again' ok he's a proffesional I thought, but I aint lying down to, what is in essence just his opinion.
Lots of blood, sweat & tears, operation after operation, highs and lows, times of dissapointment and times of satisfaction later here I am walking unassisted.
Yeah there is still pain and things are unlikely to be as they once were, but there aint a day passes that Im gratefull for that moment I decided 'its only an opinion' & being so bloody minded & determined to claim back that what was temperarly taken from me.
The body is a remarkable thing and its ability to heal when combined with the right mind set is.......well.....just amasing.
Glad your on the right tracks, the good days are just around the corner M8
