Best Broadband Provider?? Discuss Please
am lookin into gettin BB prob 1meg and am with wanadoo dial up at the mo now they do a 1meg BB package for only a couple of quid extra but are there any other better recommended providers as wannadoo has a 2gb download limit!!

Have a look through the List links to get an idea of what packages are available from which providers, then use the Compare link to see what people think of the providers you've shortlisted. When you've got it down to a few, pop onto the Message Boards, and see what current opinion is like for those providers...

can of worms opened here, i'm with bulldog, 8meg super speed, you cant beat it for the price but if you need to contact customer services then their non existant, cheers nomad

BT sounds ok simon i think i would rather go with a wel known 1 ie bt or wannadoo or summat like that but want 2 make the best dicission as most of em u gota sidn up 4 12months!!!

have had a look at wot uve put so far peeps and am still undecided. I think i jus want 1 that is cheap enough and with no download limit

BT are the only ones I'd go for right now - Bulldog looks interesting but like a lot of new-ish companies their customer service is likely to be the last thing they invest in.
BT are also the only residential provider I can name who have almost 100% up-time - Wanadoo seem to be in the habit of disconnecting the link every 24 hours for a minute or two, and NTL are appallingly badly behaved when it comes to billing and collecting money.
All just limited personal experience though, so take it with a big pinch of salt!

Telewest 1 meg and never had any problems in the last 2 years. Only reason I didnt get BT is that it wasnt available at the time but I have no reason to change

I use BT as well - no problems for since I signed up (2 or 3 years ago I think!) So if I have to recommend someone it would be them.
