Hi Jim,

The track cover extension from your particular Insurer will cover accidental damage to your vehicle for the whole day of the track day, will cost around £85.00 and your policy excess will double for all claims occuring whilst on track.

There is a temporary 1 day certificate issued along with a specific trackday wording that is sent to you when arranging this.

I dont have the full wording here at home, so when you call to arrange you can check with my staff or get them to fax this to you when you arrange this.

Kind regards

Tony

Nothing but good things to say about these guys

had been getting silly qoutes to insure the escort off other companies, but gave Tony and Darren a call, and after a very pleasant chat with them, the escort is now insured with both Cola and myself as drivers... at a very good price!

Service was excellent... wasnt like talking to an insurance company at all!!

Tony, Darren... you are ambassadors to your trade!

Hi Lambchop,

Having checked your quote, the policy excess is £350.00 but due to it being a limited mileage policy your underwriter has not included the driving other cars extension.

Our records show that you have another vehicle, so it would be wise to check whether your second policy allows driving other cars.

Failing this, we can include driving other cars if we change the policy to an 'open mileage' basis.

It's probably best to call us and we will be able to sort things out for you.

Kind regards

Tony

Brian,

PM me your full name buddy and i'll check out your quote for you.

We do have an underwriter that will probably be able to beat the £387.00 for you, but if your alarm/immobiliser is over 5 years old they will need a healthcheck.

I'll get on the case as soon as you PM me.

Kind regards

Hi Matt,

To bring you up to date, placing your cossie with a full bonus on your other car would normally be straightforward.

We would obtain an introductory discount to match your ncb percentage record on the first car and that would be it.

Due to your non-recoverable claim under the first vehicle we (and pretty much all other Insurance providers) are unable to obtain an introductory discount - which leaves us with a Cossie with zero bonus.

Since you popped your quote on i've referred your case to numerous Insurers who have advised that they will consider and get back to me, but due to the zero ncb element this is not a straight forward process and is looking bleak (plus expensive).

Is there any way that we can use the Vectra NCB on the cossie and try to replace the Vectra without NCB, as this will be far easier than placing your cossie on zero ncb??

Kind regards

Tony

Your stock (it seems) £497 quote on my S1 (WWW5058 ) is just under £100 more than quoted from Liverpool Victoria

Hi Matt,

Think ive finally sorted it buddy.. we managed to obtain a concession (albeit a reduced one) despite the claim. But 45% off isnt too bad...

This then means that the Vauxhall can stay where it is..

I've detailed the outline of your quote, along with my view as to the best way forward in a PM that ive just sent to you.

Hope this helps..

Sorry buddy, our underwriters don't offer cover for under 21's.

The claims stats for young drivers are pretty bad which drives premiums skyhigh and from a brokers perspective id be embarrased quoting you £2-2.5k for your years insurance.

Once drivers have reached 21 and have driven for 3 years on a full license the claims figures are dramatically better - thus loads more underwriters look to cover you.

I'll see what I can do and if I can manage expand our panel to cover drivers 17-20 in the future you'll be the first to know.

Kind regards

Hi Nuts Rus,

Sorry for the late reply mate, I missed your comment in the thread

Yes, we can cover rally cars whilst in the garage at home, whilst in transit to event and also for damage/liability whilst driving between stages buddy.

We have special motorsport policies for RAC MSA licensed drivers.

In addition, we can also do track day cover under our performance/modified policies for people that are already Insured with us.

Kind regards

Tony

ps.. managed to do something on the quote front so check your e-mail & your PM buddy

Thanks Tony, current insurance on the rally car covers me on MSA licenced events so that saves me the additional £40 fees each event. Thats std road cover for me plus third party only event liability included. Its not kept at home its in a heated secure lock up. All they needed was a copy of the MSA log book and a valuation.

I'll call you in 2 weeks (after your break) to see if you can do this.

The revised S1 quote though is still too high specced for what I need as I dont need hire cars etc, as I have a second vehicle. Thanks for trying and replying on a Sat night Not many do that

Hi Buddy,

This is just a short message to let you know that ive survived my honeymoon and am back in business again.

We'll look at the Rally car when youre ready buddy.

Also, with regard to quote spec.. it's a case of point taken buddy and we have historically always offered cover on a "package" or high level basis.

If the quote received ever seems way high with us we can sometimes (depending upon the insurer) strip out unwanted cover to reduce the premium.

Anyway... we'll look forward to hearing from you soon

Kind regards

Tony

Hi Spiky,

Theres good news on your policy buddy, i'll PM you but to use your phrase you should be able to buy about 1100 packets of crisps with your refund now .

There may be some good news on the "other" car too buddy, i've contacted an underwriter yesterday and we will know today but should be able to knock a couple of hundred pounds off the other car's quote too.

So.. pretty much good news all round!

Kind regards
